LG Electronics and Quanta agree to resolve disputes

LG Electronics Inc., South Korea’s second-largest electronics maker, and Quanta Computer Inc. agreed to stop patent disputes over technology used in personal computers, ending litigation that started eight years ago.

Chunghwa Picture cuts LCD output by 10%

ASUSTeK to launch 16:9 ratio laptops in 2H 2008

ASUSTeK Computer, a leading provider of 3C products (computers, communications and consumer electronics) in Taiwan, plans to launch the 16:9 15.6-inch laptop models in the European and U.S. markets in the second half of this year, sources reported.
