Sohu quarterly profit down

Sohu.com Inc, the Chinese Internet company that separately listed its online-games unit last year, said profit fell 43 percent, missing analysts’ estimates, after the spinoff cut earnings from the subsidiary.

Baidu to build Int’l headquarters

World’s largest Chinese search engine Baidu.com signed Monday an agreement with Shenzhen city government to build its international headquarters in this boomtown of southern Guangdong province.

China seizes 150 suspects for spreading online porn by servers abroad

China has cracked down on 109 cases of Internet pornography on overseas servers or websites and seized 152 suspects, said the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) Friday.
Among these cases, a total of 51 cases are criminal ones with 83 criminal suspects arrested, the MPS said.
The MPS also released further information on four typical cases.
