ZTE Corp Network deal goes to China
INDIA’S Unitech Wireless, 49 percent owned by Norway’s Telenor, said yesterday that China’s ZTE Corp would set up GSM systems and network equipment in three telecom zones and maintain them for five years. No financial terms were disclosed.
Unitech Wireless, a unit of realty firm Unitech, holds licenses to provide mobile phone services across all 22 telecom circles in India and plans to start in some by the end of the year.
