Shenhua Energy Oct coal output up 13.5 pct YoY
China Shenhua Energy Co Ltd., a listed company of the nation’s largest coal producer Shenhua Group, said its commercial coal output in October reached 16.2 mln tons, growing 13.5 pct comparing with the same period of last year.
In a statement filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the company said that it sold 19 mln tons of coal in October, up 9.2 pct from a year earlier.
Shenhua Energy, which also operates railways, ports and power plants, said power output last month rose 13.8 pct year-on-year to 71.9 bln kilowatt-hours (kWh).
It sold 66.5 billon kWh of electricity in October, up 13.7 pct year-on-year.
