Guangdong H1 apparel exports slump 31.3%

Guangdong’s apparel exports slumped 31.3% from a year earlier to US$10.8 billion in the first half of the year, with proportion of the country’s overall apparel exports shrinking from 32.5% to 21.6%, latest statistics from Guangdong Customs showed.
China’s apparel exports hit US$49.96 billion in the same period, an increase of 3.4% from the previous year.
