Shanghai Gold Exchange trading volume up 166.84% in May

Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) posted gold trading volume of 239.97 tons in May, a sharply 166.84% increase year-on-year, according to SGE’s monthly business report released this week. Aggregate trade value rose 225.07% to RMB 48.087 billion.

CNNC Overseas Uranium to buy 75% stake in United Metals

MOC: production material price up 0.5%, farm produce down 0.1%

Prices of manufacturing inputs rose 0.5% last week, compared with the previous week in China, while farm produce prices declined 0.1%, according to the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) statement on Tuesday.
