Taiwan trade surplus with China on the rise: gov’t

Taiwan enjoyed a trade surplus of US$3.98 billion with China in January, representing a year-on-year increase of 12.8 percent, according to the latest governmental tallies.

CPC Taiwan Corp., the island’s largest gasoline supplier, yesterday assured the public that its reserves were not running dry.
