China imports less aluminum amid expanding production capacity

China imported 254,323 tons of unforged aluminum and aluminum products in the first quarter of this year, a decline of 7.7 percent year on year, according to customs statistics.

HK’s Hutchison Telecom sells its India operations to Vodafone

Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited, a company controlled by Hong Kong’s richest tycoon Li Ka-shing, announced here Wednesday that it has already sold its Indian telecom operations to Vodafone.
